Sarkozy to have 10 bodyguards
Ex-president of France Nikola Sarkozy and his family will now have 10 bodyguards.
As the French Paris Match newspaper reported, Sarkozy has personally asked to have no less than 10 bodyguards.
The newspaper reports that Nikola Sarkozy recognizes the faces of all 10 bodyguards since they have served as the ex-president's bodyguards.
It is accepted that the presidents of France have bodyguards, but each official selects which bodyguard he needs.
"After leaving office, Nikola Sarkozy has been subject to assaults and offenses, and that is why he needs bodyguards," said Paris Match.
Sarkozy's demand has been agreed with the French Ministry of Internal Affairs.
