200 dead in a day
More than 200 people died after a clash between rebels and government forces in Syria last night, reports BBC.
The armed conflict continued all night long. According to opposition members, the government's forces used tanks and artillery, and a column of tanks headed toward Damascus.
Most of the victims are peaceful civilians. According to some figures, the clashes left 124 civilians dead, including 62 soldiers serving Assad and 28 opposition members.
