Syrian-Armenians: “We don’t go into politics”
A poet, a pharmacologist, a jeweler and restaurant owners from Aleppo gave a press conference today.
The poet and the jeweler have already acquired RA citizenship.
Restaurant owner Vazken Mesrobian complains that it is difficult to acquire entrance visas to Armenia at the border.
Mesrobian is also concerned about the fact that it takes too long for Diaspora Armenians to acquire citizenship in Armenia.
The Syrian-Armenians also wish that the Armenian airline company reduce airfare for flights from Aleppo to Yerevan. They don't want to talk about what's going on in Syria since "they don't go into politics".
During its session today, the RA Government gave Syrian-Armenians the opportunity to acquire RA entrance visas at RA border passing points and obtain RA passports for the first time at RA embassies and consulates in different countries.
