Support A1+!Yesterday Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced about 3 new cases of coronavirus in Armenia. These people had arrived from Italy. Two of them are citizens of Armenia and one of them is a citizen of Italy.
Before turning to the main agenda during today’s government session Vice Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan (the session is held by the Vice Prime Minister because the Prime Minister is on holiday) asked the Health care Minister Arsen Torosyan about the situation of coronavirus in Armenia.
The Minister informed that after having found out 3 new cases of coronavirus, the patients were hospitalized. Only one of them has pneumonia and receives symptomatic treatment. The other patients do not have any symptoms, though they had a temperature when being hospitalized.
The Minister also mentioned that 10 people who have had contact with those patients were also isolated. There are also 31 people isolated in Tsakhkadzor.
The Office of Coordination of Inspection Work head Artur Asoyan informed the Vice Prime Minister that the control had also been strengthened at the air border. People arriving from all directions fill in special forms in the airplane and their temperature is measured. Those who do not fill in the forms will not be allowed to enter the country. By 9 o’clock in the morning, 6300 forms had already been filled in.
