Today, on March 30, the government headed by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan convened an extraordinary session to discuss and adopt three more anti-crisis packages of bills.

During the session the Ministry of Health Arsen Torosyan presented the current situation caused by coronavirus. He pointed out that so far there are 482 confirmed cases of coronavirus, of which 58 are confirmed within the last day.

To note, 25 from this 58 were initially in quarantine, that is, they had no contact scope, 31 of them are medical professionals, who were also initially in suspicious zone, and 2 of them are foreign-born cases, and the scope of their contact is being clarified.

Later the Minister added that at present, we have 14 severe and one extremely severe cases. The later is in this condition, because has applied for a doctor very late, but thanks God, a positive change can already be seen.

The Prime Minister in his turn expressed condolences to the families and relatives of the dead. He noted that both patients who died in recent days had very serious chronic diseases. One of them had ischemic heart disease and arterial hypertension, the other had another heart disease which was the consequence of myocardial infarction and stroke.

Nikol Pashinyan also inquired about the positive dynamics associated with the disease. The minister said that 250 citizens have already come out of isolation and in the upcoming days they would have more cured citizens, besides the already known 30 cases.

As for the news of the death rejuvenation, Arsen Torosyan said that statistics are different and mainly related to citizen's lifestyle: "For example, if we have a 30-year-old who smokes 3 packs of cigarettes a day, he is a potentially untreated patient."

Later Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan said that dozens of soldiers return to their service from isolation and self-isolation.

In the end, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Arayik Harutyunyan  touched upon the question of distance education, assuring that they mostly receive positive feedback, both in case of schools and universities.

"Of course, we have a problem with the availability of devices and internet connection. About 24,000 students we have a problem with the devices, but we do our best to solve this issue."

The Prime Minister said that this experience would help us achieve the goal of developing distance education in remote villages.
