Nairit plant employees change their tactics
Former employees of “Nairit” plant today has again taken to the streets in order to demand their unpaid salaries. The protest action, which was launched near the Presidential residence, continued near the territory of the National Assembly building. To note, 2200 former employees of “Nairit” plant haven’t been paid $ 15 million salary. “Our demand is the same, we demand our salaries, full repayment of our salaries and reactivation of “Nairit”. We have been in the streets for already 5 months and only 2 months’ salary was paid, we won’t calm down unless we are paid our salaries,” action participant Anush Harutyunyan told “A1+”. “Nairit” employees decided to change their tactics. The group coordinating their actions decided that on Tuesdays they will hold their protest actions near the Presidential residence and on Thursdays near the Government building.
