The poster of a citizen itself hints that the flash mob at Liberty Square is dedicated to Arthur Sargsyan, the man, who took bread to Sasna Dzrer (Daredevils of Sasun) group. “We want to remind through Facebook photos, shooting, such actions that Arthur Sargsyan has been imprisoned for a thing, which is called ‘ to carry bread’, which doesn’t have any criminal basis,” says one the organizers of the action, journalist Tehmine Yenokyan. Arthur Sargsyan, who received “the man, who brought bread” nickname, entered Erebuni police station by car, by breaking the police cordon. He took food to Sasna Dzrer group, who seized Erebuni police regiment. He stayed there till the end and surrendered together with the members of the group. “Arthur acted the way most of us weren’t able to do. Arthur Sargsyan is my conscience; my conscience is jailed and we are trying to do our best to see our conscience in freedom,” says member of Yerevan Council of Elders Davit Sanasaryan. All the photos can prove one thing that the freedom fighter, who received the nickname “The man, who brought bread” must be released. The action participants don’t think that just after this action Arthur Sargsyan will be released, but they don’t lose their hope. “Arthur is a prisoner of conscience and directly Arthur didn’t commit any crime. I am sure that as a result of our pressure, our voice Arthur will appear in freedom,” notes Sanasaryan. Other Yerevan residents, taking a photo holding the poster with Arthur Sargsyan’s image, join the demand. They will post the photos on the Internet, reminding Arthur’s action. Lilith Baghdasaryan is one of his supporters, “He acted like Sasna Dzrer; he went hot bloodedly and entered the police regiment.” “Being a citizen, being worried about today’s situation, I cannot pass indifferently. It’s important that he be freed so that the justice can find its right place,” notes Sukias Matevosyan. Today Arthur Sargsyan is charged with supporting the members of the armed group, which implies 8-15 years’ imprisonment. The participants of the actions are going to voice the action of Arthur Sargsyan during the whole October.
