On November 5, local self-government elections will be held in Marmashen, Ani and Akhuryan communities of Shirak marz. Samvel Nikoyan touched upon the issue of ruling Republican Party of Armenia members and candidates who are battling each other at the same election district. Aghvan Vardanyan explained why the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Dashnaktsutyun Party representatives were not nominated by the party but rather self-nominated in Marmashen and Akhuryan. .
