Meeting of two small but proud states during "Yerevan Perspectives"

According to Artistic Director of "Yerevan Perspectives" Stepan Rostomyan, the 19th annual festival as always is in "flights," and now, when under the high patronage of the prime minister, they expect to record "space flights." Today, the guest of Yerevan Perspectives is the Estonian National Symphonic Orchestra led by its renowned conductor Neeme Jarvi. An orchestra that has a list of compositions from Baroque to Modern Music will be present Armenian-Estonian program at this concert. According to the director of the orchestra, they have traveled a lot this year. But this concert is really unique for them and exceptional case when all the musicians wanted to come to Armenia. "The orchestra has been in Armenia 30 years ago and there are still musicians who remember the tour," Neeme Jarvi shared his warm memories of Armenia. The conductor also spoke about his warm memories of Konstantin Orbelyan. He knew Orbelyan from America as a great pianist, and they made the first recordings together. He was delighted to meet him today. The concert is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Armenia and Estonia, and Estonian Minister of Culture is in Yerevan on this occasion. According to the organizers of the concert, this is a meeting of two small but proud states.
