Slavik Karapetyan, the administrative head of the Tavrus village in Ayunik province, doesn't remember when the last a wedding took place in Tavrus, as, according to him, it was a long time ago. Instead, he remembers the time when the village was crowded; it was full of weddings, newborns. Currently, only 12 households are left.

"Every closed door is equivalent to the left post," says Slavik Karapetyan.

Closed doors are also increasing in neighboring Antarashat. According to the district head Arayik Sargsyan, the village is now relatively crowded, as many people come to their summer houses. In winter Antarashat has 91 permanent residents.

There is no school in the village, and there are only 3 students in the village, who go to the neighboring village's school- 3 km away. And because of the lack of kindergarten and work, the youth who emigrate.
