TURNED AROUND AND GOT BURNED
The serving group of AR Emergency Situation Ministry announced that on September 10, at 12:50 pm, on the 62nd km of Ashtarak- Giumry Highway, in unrevealed circumstances a BWV model car was turned aside and burned.
A YOUNG MAN WAS KILLED BY ELECTRIC POWER ACCIDENT
On September 10, in Machine Tools Plant of Yerevan, a deadly accident occurred at 14:25pm. Aramais Yeremyan, born in 1974, in village Aigedzor of Tavush County, was deadly killed by the electricity power, during performing his professional responsibilities. His dead body was released from the accident spot by safeguard group and provided to the Law officials.
BEAR ATTACKED WOMAN
On September 6 a bear attacked Hersik Poghossian, inhabitant of the village of Tsakkar, Gegharkunik, in the yard of her house.
THE POLICE BANNED AGAIN
The parents of victim-soldiers who died in military units while at service staged a sit-down strike in front of the Government building but the police forcibly removed them from there.

EARTHQUAKE RECORDED IN ARMENIA
A seven-magnitude earthquake was recorded near the Nakhidzevan-Iran frontier at about 1:00 a.m. According to the Armenian National Centre for Seismic Protection the earthquake also shook Armenia.
HOUSE BURNT DOWN
A fire broke out in house 14 in the village of Verin Dzrashen at 01:57 on September 1. Two fire brigades and a water-carrier were sent to the site shortly afterwards.

TEN PETROL WAGONS TRANSFERRED TO ARMENIA: QUEUES CONTINUE
Fuel crisis in Armenia continues. If once you could see a line of cars in front of filling-stations, today 2-3 lines have appeared. Drivers are at a loss. The only way of getting petrol is by checks but they are not available for everybody. Filling-stations have petrol but the employees are instructed not to sell without checks. “No one is given fuel without a check.”
AREN’T THERE PIGS IN ARMENIA?
There is no pork in Armenia. Today Armenians mainly eat frozen pork imported from foreign countries. One can hardly find fork at Yerevan markets.
ORGANISATIONS STOPPED OPERATING
The building of “Youth Radio” of Javakheti which belongs to the United Javakheti Democratic Alliance has been controlled by the Georgian security agencies since July 18. Access to the building is denied. In the result some organisations stopped operating.

Now that the price of benzine has gone up young environmentalists, who are worried about the ecological situation in Yerevan, want to promote an ecologically clean transportation means quite unknown to Armenian.

CRASHED CAR CAUGHT FIRE
A fire broke out at the intersection of Movses Khorenatsi and Eghishe Charents streets in the town of Gyumri at 23.17, on August 26. The fire burst out in a car crashed under unknown circumstances.
GOT DROWNED
Two fishermen got drowned in the “Armash” fish-breeding lake in the village of Surenavan, Ararat marz, at 6.00 on August 25. Divers were sent for to take out the corpses.

DRIVER OF “HAYKAKAN ZHAMANAK” KIDNAPPED
Today correspondent to the “Haykakan Zhamanak” daily Anna Zakharian visited Aragatsotni Region to find out why the minibuses to the capital did not work. In the City Hall of Ashtarak she was explained that they had nothing to do with it and advised Anna to turn to the Regional Council.
