A car accident took place near the “Fortress” restaurant on November 3 at 10:17 p.m. located on Antarayin street in Yerevan.

ARMENIAN CITIZEN BURNT ALIVE
Three Russian policemen are accused of a heinous murder of an Armenian citizen in the Russian region of Saratov. After abortive efforts to make the Armenian “plead guilty of a larceny” the policemen burnt him alive with gasoline.
ROLLED DOWNHILL
A traffic accident took place on the 30th km of Goris-Tegh highway at 1.00 p.m. October 30. Under unknown circumstances a VAZ-21010 belonging to “Desyatka” taxi service went off course and rolled downhill.
FIRES
A fire broke out in house 28 in the city of Masis at 12.56, October 28. A firefighting team was sent to the scene shortly afterwards. The fire was extinguished with joint efforts.
GAS CONTAINER EXPLODED
On October 27 at 5:05 p.m. a gas container exploded near the “Kaj” gas station on Yerevan Street in the city of Armavir while the station workers were filling the gas tank of A. Yeghiazaryan’s “VAZ-2107” car with state license number 11 SL 204. There was no fire and a rescue team had left for the scene. There are no victims or injured.
SHOOTING IN YEREVAN STREETS
The police station of Arabkir district reports that shots were fired in a backyard at 48/A Komitas Street at 2.35 p.m. October 26.
FIRE IN GYUMRI
A fire broke out in house 49 belonging to L. Madoyan in the city of Gyumri, at 4:40 p.m. October 26. A fire-fighting team was sent to the scene shortly afterwards.
“ARMENIANS BURNT ALIVE BY TURKISH SOLDIERS”
Recently, the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute’s efforts towards collection of new data on the Armenian genocide have experienced great success with the enrichment of AGMI’s collection of documentary photographs. The most recent discovery is a photo testifying of the Armenian Genocide and in particular the massacres of the Armenian population in the region of Mush.
GRENADE FOUND IN BUILDING YARD
An “F1” grenade was found in a building yard at 49/3 Moldovakan Street, Yerevan, at 5:13 p.m., October 23. The grenade was sent to the police station.
SHIFTING TO WINTER TIME
Clocks move back an hour on October 26 at 3:00 a.m., told “A1+” the press service of the Ministry of Economy. This change is in accordance to the law on the order of estimating time in Armenia, which was approved on December 10, 1997.
POISONED
Resident of the Akhurian village of Giumri Ruzanna Matevosian was transferred to the “Samariter” hospital at around 3 :25 a.m. last night after she was poisoned by a poisonous gas. Doctors say that she is in critical condition.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT
A traffic accident occurred on Sevan-Martuni highway, Gegharkunik marz, at 05.00, October 18. A VAZ-2107 with state numbers 31 LO 886 went off course and turned over.
DEMANDING WITH NO HOPE
Wives of political prisoners have been standing in front of the Prosecutor General’s building every Friday for seven consecutive months with signs reading “It’s a shame”, “Freedom to Political Prisoners” and “We demand you to punish the criminals of March 1”. They continue to claim that their husbands are innocent and were sentenced based on false testimonies.

DEAD BODY FOUND IN HRAZDAN RIVER
The RA Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call on October 13 at 6 :22 p.m. According to the information, a car had rolled down the Hrazdan river from the street near the shore. As a result of the car accident, passengers of the 02 OO 203 state licensed VAZ-21099 brand name car Vardan Manukian, 28, and Arpine Bagratian, 35, received injuries and were transferred to the “Armenia” hospital.
KNIFE-FIGHT IN YEREVAN STREETS
On October 4 resident of Kotayk Marz Gevorg H., 1965, was taken to hospital with a stab-wound in the shoulder. Soon it became known that Gevorg H. had been stabbed with a thrust weapon near “Garun” shop by an unknown person who later took to flight.
