«In my opinion the Georgian side wants to politicize the issue and to create tension between Armenia and Russia». This was the opinion of famous pilot Dmitriiy Adbashyan, the head of the National Aviation Union, during the press conference in connection with the A-320 crash.

Aviation company “Armavia” intends to buy three airbuses by financial leasing. Next week the company will have another airbus A-320 produced in 1994 or 1995. Later on two more airbuses will be bought.

The Ministry of Finance and Economy informs that by 11 AM today the special account opened in order to help the families of the victims of the A-320 crash has already gathered 22 521 100 AMD.

The relatives of the victims of the A-320 crash have been advised to return to Armenia. During the last two days no new bodies have been found. By now only 51 of the 113 bodies have been found.

The rescuers suppose they have found the fuselage of the crashed Armenian plane. Sergey Biryukov who participates in the search works informed the journalists about it.

Today the underwater investigation system called «Calamary» will start to work in the place of the A-320 crash. The equipment is meant for naval forces. Perhaps this system will make it possible to get the record boxes of the plane out of the water. Until then, the relatives of the victims continue to recognize their bodies.

At about midnight another plane from Sochi brought eight more bodies of the victims of the A-320 crash. The relatives of the victims arrived in Armenia by the same plane.

Every minute there are new hypotheses about the A-320 crash. We learned from the workers of the airport (who refused to introduce themselves) that as a rule the airplanes are refueled in Sochi as fuel is twice as expensive in Armenia as in Sochi (400 AMD to 200). The airplanes were tanked wit as much fuel as would suffice to fly to Sochi.

The Armenian airplane A-320 which crashed on May 3 has never undergone technical examination in the Belgian company “Sabena Technics”. The representatives of the company told Radio “Liberty” about it today.

It is early to speak about the reasons of the May 3 aircrash as the criminal investigation is still under way. But seven hypotheses are already being discussed: technical problems, lack of fuel, the factor of the pilot, the mistake of the dispatcher, bad weather, waterspout, and terrorism.

The Russian Embassy in Yerevan opened its doors to all those who wanted to condole with the families of the victims of the May aircrash. The book of condolences was opened from 10:00 till 16:00.

A fire destroyed a hanger at Zaventem Airport on Thursday night, leading to massive flight delays at the Brussels international airport on Friday. Four people were injured.

The relatives of the victims of the aircrash are already losing nerve. They bear their grief silently and wait for the bodies of their relatives. But still, the bodies of the majority of hte victims of the aircrash have not yet been found.

Early in the morning in airport «Zvartnots» a special plane from Sochi landed carrying the bodies of 26 victims of the aircrash which have been recognized. According to the most recent information, 53 bodies have been found 28 of which have been recognized.

Last night in Belgium another plane belonging to “Armavia” burnt. Because of the fire which broke out in the stores of the Belgian company “Sabena Technics” four planes A-320 burnt to ashes. Two of them belonged to Armenian aviation companies.

The administration of the Adler airport has hidden the workers of the shift who worked in the airport the day when the Armenian plane A-320 crashed. The police and the National Security Service are afraid of the mob law.

There is an unwritten law in the aviation sphere: «Aviation laws are written in blood». After each crash the laws and rules concerning the sphere are improved. The crash of the airplane flying from Yerevan to Sochi will give the specialists another occasion to think if everything was done to maximally guarantee the security of the passengers.

Special equipment will be transported from Novorossiysk to Sochi in order to get the record boxes of the plane out of the water. French specialists have also promised technical support.

In Sochi the relatives of the victims of the air crash are already giving their blood for DNA analysis, RA Minister of Transportation Igor Levitin informed. Let us remind you that only 41 of the 53 bodies have been recognized.

Today in Armenia and Russia the state flags will be lowered in memory of the victims of the May 3 aircrash. May 5 in Russia and May 5 and 6 in Armenia are officially declared mourning days. The record boxes of the plane A-320 which belonged to «Armavia» have not yet been found. As a result of the crash 105 passengers and the 8-person crew of the plane perished.

The flight schedule of “Zvartnots” airport has changed which is determined by the “A - 320” aircraft crash. Today the flights Yerevan - Moscow and Yerevan - Amstedam were cancelled. And the flights Yerevan - Minvod and Yerevan - Istanbul were annulled. All these flights are realized by the air company “Armavia.”

The governmental commission set up in connection with the “Armavia” company aircraft crash made an announcement today in which it was stated;
